The Reefton Trail Collective started as a roadtrip conversation in 2025 and soon morphed into action and is now a volunteer-driven, community-led organisation making things happen. We’re a group of passionate locals who love Reefton’s tracks and trails and want to see them looked after and used.
Our work ranges from track maintenance and new trail projects to sharing information and helping people discover what’s here. We partner with local organisations, groups, Department of Conservation and others, to work together to care for and develop Reefton's trails.
CHAIR - JO NEWBURRY
Jo is our Chairperson and helps keep the Reefton Trail Collective connected. She works alongside the committee to guide the group's direction and is a key point of contact with organisations, agencies and others we work with.
